Air Cadets

Air Cadets Logo

Are you aged between 12 (school year 8) and 17? Are you interested in making new friends? Are you interested in Aviation? Then the Royal Air Force Air Cadets could be for you.

Many cadets go on to fly as a profession in both military and civil life, of course, others may not go on to fly at all, but at least they have a good grounding in citizenship and leadership.

Biggin Hill squadron recruit on a bi-monthly basis and is current taking down names for our next intake. We welcome all potential cadets and their parents to come along for a visit to see what we have to offer.

Contact the squadron on 01959 570426 during parade hours, or E: oc.2427@airacdets.org

Rainbows & Brownies

Not running at present – volunteer wanted! Could you inspire the women of the future by becoming a volunteer?
Girlguiding UK is the ‘largest girl only space’ charity in this country and is found worldwide in many forms, although in Westerham we are currently without any adult leaders to run units.
Leaders are needed to help girls from 5 to 18 to develop into capable, skilled, outgoing, versatile and enthusiastic adults of the future.
Locally, we are looking for volunteers of Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (7 to 10 year olds) and Guides so the women of tomorrow can enjoy activities in weekly meetings supported by a network of experienced Girlguiding adults.
The NEW structured Programme aids the girls to enjoy a fun and varied range of activities, with exciting badges to earn, learning new skills along the way.
If you can volunteer help in any way, go to www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested or  contact the local District Commissioner direct on 1stEdenbridgeguides@gmail.com
