Limpsfield Chart Cricket Club

We are a small village club that fields two Saturday teams in the Kent County Village League, a Sunday friendly team and in 2018 we also have an u14s and u10s team. We take pride in always giving the opposition a good game but more importantly we value friendship, bringing members of the community together and offering a legitimate excuse for not mowing the lawn and putting off the DIY!
We are actively looking for new members to bolster our ranks. Fielding three teams every weekend means we have a place for everybody so whether you are young or old, a pinnacle of fitness or carrying some extra timber, a regular cricketer or you can’t remember which end of the bat to hold we would love to hear from you. We don’t have any expectation that people to commit to playing every week so whether you are looking to play 20 games or 5 games a season you are very welcome.
Don’t have any kit? Don’t worry we can lend you kit, all you need is yourself and some trainers so why not come along and give it a try! To register interest please email us at
We are always keen to hear from people who would like to involved in an umpiring, scoring or propping up the bar capacity too. Read more here

Hurst Green Shires

Hurst Green ShiresHere at Hurst Green Shires we firmly believe that the traditional shire horse is as versatile as any horse out there. Our youngstock are bred from solid traditional lines, and our stallions are multi purpose, excelling at all their jobs be it riding, driving, showing or carrying on their lines with beautiful foals.

Every shire that comes to us is treated with the very best of knowledge and care, so that they leave us as well trained and balanced as they possibly can.

Hurst Green shires is a family business, with everyone very much included in the day to day running including the horses. They are considered in everything we do.

We also spend a lot of time educating the next generation of owners and handlers with traditional skills through our training weekends and show days.
