The Club is looking to recruit more playing members.
The ground at Foxwold on Brasted Chart has hosted cricket for nearly 80 years and is in one of the most picturesque settings in the area. We are a typical village team, playing for fun and the love of the game. It is an ideal opportunity for former players who would like to turn out for the odd game perhaps with their aspiring sons. We don’t charge an annual sub, but players pay a match fee to cover costs.

Hurst Green Shires
Here at Hurst Green Shires we firmly believe that the traditional shire horse is as versatile as any horse out there. Our youngstock are bred from solid traditional lines, and our stallions are multi purpose, excelling at all their jobs be it riding, driving, showing or carrying on their lines with beautiful foals.
Every shire that comes to us is treated with the very best of knowledge and care, so that they leave us as well trained and balanced as they possibly can.
Hurst Green shires is a family business, with everyone very much included in the day to day running including the horses. They are considered in everything we do.
We also spend a lot of time educating the next generation of owners and handlers with traditional skills through our training weekends and show days.
