Regrettably, given the current situation with COVID-19, and the Government’s advice about group activities, we have decided to suspend the organised walks programme for Westerham Ramblers for the time being. We appreciate that many people will continue to want to walk – and this is of course possible to in a safe way with small groups of people and by maintaining suitable separation. However, we feel that organised group walks are not currently appropriate.
Whilst we are not affiliated with them, we noted that The Ramblers Association have also taken this decision.
Sunday 29th March 10.30am. We meet at Dryhill Nature Reserve (click here for directions) A fairly easy circular walk round Dryhill followed by a wider circular walk to the White Horse, Sundridge, for refreshments before returning to Dryhill car park. Approximately 4.5 miles 3 hours in total. 3 stiles and uneven steps up to the churchyard. No hills just the occasional incline.
Walks can be subject to change at very short notice. Please either telephone Richard Gadd on 07792919727 or check the Ramblers Website PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE CARRY NO INSURANCE. AS WE STARTED AS AN INFORMAL GROUP, WE NEVER FELT IT NECESSARY, SO EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEMSELVES (AND THEIR DOGS).
