Westerham’s Foodbank

Westerham Food Bank Appeal: Update May 2019: You may have seen in the press recently that pressure on Food Banks is growing and in Westerham we have seen a significant increase in clients referred to us over the past few months.

Since Christmas we have added a further eight clients to our list, both families and single people – some 20 individuals in all. The stocks built up after Harvest and Christmas are dwindling and we have big gaps which are having an impact on what we are able to offer. Most clients need short term help – the message from the referring agencies is ‘while their benefits are sorted out’. So, please if you can find an extra tin, please drop it into the collection basket in St Mary’s Church, Co-Op, Wolfe Garage, The Library, Waitrose Biggin Hill, Congregational Church or the Council Offices. All donations are faithfully collected each week by our volunteers and every one of them is gratefully received. Thank you

Donations can be left at St Mary’s Church, Co-Op, Wolfe Garage, The Library, Waitrose Biggin Hill, Congregational Church or the Council Offices. Thank you.
