Westerham Food Bank Appeal: Foodbank Appeal for: tins of baked beans, spaghetti, fruit, rice pudding, tomatoes or vegetables, tinned fish and meat which can be eaten hot or cold. Pasta sauces and basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, cooking oil, gravy granules) are popular. Tomato ketchup, brown sauce or mayonnaise/salad cream are much appreciated. Tea, coffee (instant) long life milk, squash and sugar. ’Treats’ are welcome – sweet biscuits, crisps, sweets or chocolate. Often forgotten are items for cleaning people (shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, deodorant, loo rolls) or for household cleaning (washing up liquid, laundry products, general cleaners). Currently we have more than ample stocks of soup, pasta and porridge oats. Lentils and beans, other than the baked variety, are of limited appeal!
