Westerham’s Foodbank

Sponsor a Real Easter Egg for Westerham Foodbank: at the beginning of Advent, members of the congregation sponsored the gift of ‘Real Advent Calendars’ to the Westerham Foodbank. The families who received them were delighted. We now have the opportunity to sponsor Real Easter Eggs. “Out of the 80 million chocolate Easter Eggs sold each year, the Real Easter Egg is the only Fairtrade one with the Easter story in the box.” (The Meaningful Chocolate Company) The chocolate egg is palm oil free and the packaging is free of plastic. If you would like to donate an egg to the Westerham Foodbank, place £3.99 in a sealed envelope, marked The Real Easter Egg, and hand to a churchwarden – Christina or David – on any Sunday during February and March or to Alyson in the Parish Office, weekday mornings.

Normal donations: we have plentiful supplies of cereals, soups and pasta, we are running low on tinned fish and cold meat, tinned stews, meat or chicken in sauce, tinned fruit, noodles and squash. Anything you can do to help would be so very much appreciated. Donations can be left at St Mary’s Church, Co-Op, Wolfe Garage, The Library, Waitrose Biggin Hill, Congregational Church or the Council Offices. Thank you.
