Report from 2014

Despite the weather, the skies of Westerham were once again full of colour, shapes and sounds when The Scouts held their annual firework display. Although takings were down on the gates, those who attended gave numerous ooh’s and ah’s as the professional display filled the night sky and the finale of the ten minute show received a rapturous round of applause.

The organisers received numerous compliments as the guests were leaving and there have been posts on the Westerham Website along with some great photos. The display ran only ten minutes late unlike nearby events so youngsters still had a chance to enjoy it  and those who stayed after the display were treated to a performance by local band The Licks who managed to pack the dancefloor in the Sports Club until late in the evening.
