We are pleased to announce an exciting new business networking event for Westerham on 26th April 2017 from 10.30am-12.00pm kindly hosted by Squerryes and to be held at the stunning new Squerryes tasting rooms.
The Westerham Town Partnership, The Westerham Business Breakfast Club and Squerryes are working with the support of the Sevenoaks and District Chamber of Commerce to launch a Westerham 4th Wednesday networking event, which we hope will be a regular event in the calendar for Westerham businesses.
This event will provide a relaxed and informal environment providing local businesses with an opportunity to network, meet other businesses and find out about local and district wide initiatives relevant to the businesses community. This partnership will also provide wider opportunities for Westerham businesses to access networking events and meetings through the Sevenoaks and District Chamber of Commerce.
A 50% discount on the entrance fee will be offered for this inaugural event and entrance will be just £5. If you are currently a member of the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce then entrance is free and there will be discounts available on the day for non-members to join the Chamber.
We very much hope you will support this event. By providing regular meetings, we hope to encourage cross exchange of information, build better business relationships and better promote the prosperous and vibrant business community within Westerham. If this event is successful we hope to repeat regularly at different venues locally.
There is no need to pre-book this event but it would be useful to have an indication of numbers. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to indicate your interest in attending or to find out more please contact Julie Phillips on 01732 455188.
Please note Henry Warde will be available at the end of the meeting to discuss the important Which Way Westerham initiative which is relevant to all businesses in the area. We would encourage you to stay on and hear more from Henry.

The Business Breakfast Club
The Westerham Business Breakfast Club was established in 1995 and is run by Karrison’s David Robinson and Neil Pritchard of St James’ Place Partnership. The club currently holds its meetings at Westerham Golf Club with occasional excursions.
The meetings are usually held on a Friday on a bi-monthly basis and start at a not unsociable time of just before 8am. David says “By the time we’ve met, had some coffee, a full English breakfast and listened to the guest speaker, we’re usually back in our office by 9.30. It’s a great way to start the day, and in such fabulous surroundings”.
The club provides an informal business breakfast in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where local business people get together, discuss local issues, have a great breakfast and listen to a guest speaker. Members are from all types of business in the Westerham, Oxted, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas.
The guest speakers are drawn usually from the corporate world and cover topics that encompass all relevant issues across many business sectors.
Previous speakers have included: Robert Wicks from the highly successful Westerham Brewery; Henry Warde from The Squerryes Court Estate – who provided everyone with an insight into the history and workings of the estate; and the inspirational an enormously talented Johnny Jonas, the renowned artist, portrait painter and inventor; Phil Eckersley of the Bank of England; and our MP, Michael Fallon.
The Westerham Business Breakfast Club is always looking for new guests and members. There is no membership fee or joining fee – all you pay for is your breakfast.
