Westerham Town Partnership – the ‘Town Team’

The Westerham Town Partnership is a Community Interest Company, which developed through a group of volunteers, in May 2010, following the completion of a Kent Rural Towns inspired Healthcheck Report.

The current Directors of WTP CIC appear below.   Working alongside a Steering Committee of local volunteers, they work with the community and businesses  to help Westerham to prosper and encourage tourism.

We work collaboratively and closely with the local businesses and traders, clubs and societies, churches and institutions, The National Trust, Squerryes, the Town and District Councils and everyone in the community. One of our first projects was this website.

Broadly, the aims of the Town Partnership are:

  • To provide a forum for those interested in promoting the town with the aim of encouraging collaboration, partnership and working together.
  • To promote the town as a good place to live, visit and work thereby improving the economic and social well being of the community.
  • To support,  conserve and enhance the character, culture, heritage and environment of the town and surrounding countryside.
  • To disseminate information about the community and its events.
  • To support existing and new projects presented by groups or individuals for the enrichment of the community.
