Westerham’s late night shopping event promises a raft of festive entertainment. The shops – mostly small independent retailers – will be filled with unusual gifts, special offers and festive cheer, and will remain open until 9pm.
There will also be children’s entertainment, costumed characters, hot chestnuts, food and market stalls.
The day will also see St Mary’s Westerham come alive with its annual Festival of Christmas Trees, which transforms the historic church into a veritable Christmas grotto. Local schools, businesses, clubs and societies, families and individuals contribute elegant, quirky or entertainingly decorated trees, lighting up the aisles. Take a break from the bustle of the town, come inside to view St Mary’s Heritage Trust’s wonderful display.
