The Westerham Town Partnership is an independent group of volunteers who try to help our town to flourish in an ever-changing economy. WTP works alongside shops and businesses and the Westerham Town Council to help promote our town’s many natural assets. We were founded back in 2010 after the Westerham Council asked a group of volunteers to do a survey of our town, designed by Kent Rural Towns (now disbanded) in order to write a report called a Healthcheck. With guidance from Hidden Britain consultancy, we started a website, a Farmers Market and published a guide to Westerham’s History Walks.
Today, we are constituted as a Community Interest Company and our activities are managed by a dynamic Steering Group led by our chair John Hardey. We typically organise at least three events a year which are free to visitors. Through social media we try to help advertise Westerham’s unique heritage and the many activities in the town arranged by our clubs and societies. WTP is funded by Patrons who pay a monthly subscription, which starts at £5.
